Bethany Sander is currently completing her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Regina. She completed her M.Sc. in clinical psychology in 2023. Bethany’s research focuses on the biological and psychosocial contributors to depression during the menopause transition.


Bethany received clinical training during her master's degree at the University of Regina's Psychology Training Clinic, where she led Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills training group sessions, conducted individual therapy using DBT and cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), and assisted with assessments related to a variety of mental health concerns. Bethany also completed a Ph.D. practicum at QueensBridge Psychology Services, where she was involved with mental health and psychoeducational assessments and treated clients for a variety of mental health concerns using CBT, DBT, cognitive processing therapy, exposure therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. She will be practicum student at the Owens Group starting in September of 2024 under the supervision of Dr. Katherine Owens, Ph.D., R. D. Psych.
