Gabrielle Desgagné (she/her) is a registered psychologist (SK #1311) with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists. She has a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Alberta and has completed all requirements for her PhD in Counselling Psychology, with degree conferral pending. Her doctoral training included a one-year predoctoral residency at Counselling and Clinical Services at the University of Alberta.
Gabrielle works with adults experiencing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, anger, and self-criticism.
Her approach is humanistic, which means she believes people can grow and heal when they feel safe, understood, and supported. She works closely with clients to explore challenges, set goals, and find practical ways to make meaningful, manageable changes. Gabrielle is warm, approachable, and easy to talk to, helping clients feel comfortable sharing what matters most to them.
She draws on evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Treatment is tailored to each client’s unique needs and preferences.
Outside of work, Gabrielle is her cat Piper’s personal assistant, an aspiring chef (with occasional triumphs), and a devoted Netflix critic. These hobbies help her stay grounded and bring her best self to her work with clients.
